What is the cost to enroll at your studio?
R2200 per month for one class each week. All materials and firings are included, so there’s no need to purchase anything additional.
What projects do we work on?
We cover various hand-building techniques, including pinching, coiling, and slab work. Students then progress to the potter's wheel and sculpture.
Do students create the same items in class?
Each beginner follows a skills learning program that involves learning specific techniques, but your own creative input is encouraged.
Is there a beginner's class?
Our classes comprise a mix of all skill levels, as we work with each individual at their own pace.
I have never done pottery before; can I still join?
Absolutely! All skill levels are welcome at our studio, and we offer instruction from beginner to advanced levels.
What happens if I miss a class?
You have the option to catch up in an alternative class, but this requires prior arrangement and is subject to space availability.
Do you offer children’s classes?
Unfortunately not at this time, however children above 7 can attend the clay making experience.
Do you offer one-off classes?
We do not offer one-off classes during our regular schedule, but we provide a clay-making experience on our open studio days.
When is the open studio day?
Open studio days occur on the last Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Booking is essential.
Do you offer pottery wheel classes?
Yes — wheel work is part of our program. Students first learn hand-building fundamentals like pinching, coiling, and slab work, then progress to the potter's wheel at their own pace.
